Choosing colors for interior decoration doesn’t have to be scary. Simply get started with choosing the Interior colors for your home as can be plentiful fun. Suvastu Real estate developers in Bangladesh consider these tips:

o   The first place for color inspiration can be your closet. We all naturally get drawn towards colors of clothing because they really nurture our personalities, and the colors in your room will behave in the same way. Don’t you think that your home should reflect your personality?

o   When you feel overwhelmed by the number of color choices, start with the golden rule of three. Begin by choosing three colors. Then surround your palette around those. Keep repeating those colors all around your room or space.

o   Use the ratio of 60:30:10, where 60% of the color is the dominant color, 30% is the secondary color, and 10% is just the accent color. For example, the walls could be painted the dominant color, with the upholstery in the secondary color and all accessories like vases, throw pillows, etc. in the accent color.

o   If it starts to feel too matchy-matchy with only 3 colors, try using those same colors in a different pattern, texture, sheen or shade – as in one or two shades darker or lighter than those in your chose palette.

o   When trying to add color to a room that is only partly furnished, pull your dominant color from any piece of existing furniture or decor. In this way, even when you add new pieces, they will simply blend in a flowing manner.

o   Create a balance of warm and cool colors. For example, combine one rich warm color with two cool and light colors.  You may also try balancing a bold, cool color like cobalt blue with a sunny yellow (warm) and soft lime green (warm).

o   For perfect matches, choose colors that are on opposite ends of the color wheel, i.e. complimentary colors, which naturally seem to flatter each other!

o   Keep in mind that soft or muted colors and simple patterns reduce visual weight and feel lighter in any space. They tend to match smoothly in smaller rooms. Bold patterns and saturated colors add visual weight.

o   Remember that black and white can also act as colors in various spaces, as do textures, patterns and wood tones. All such “colors” add towards your color choices. Consider those when planning your decor.

o   Ground your spaces with darker colors in your palette. Just as in nature, our rooms can appear suitable with the darkest colors lower in space and the lighter colors above. Floors should be somewhat darker than walls to keep them from appearing to “float.” Light walls around a dark ceiling can make it feel like the sky is crumbling!

o   Keep your colors matched with your personality and style. For example, if you are introverted and feel overwhelmed in rooms with numerous patterns and Interior colors, avoid the bright colors and large prints. If your personality favors hugeness, you may soon get bored with neutral colors.

o   Keep a swatch booklet with yourself whenever you go out, since rarely anyone can retain a perfect color match longer than a few seconds. So trust your swatches.
